Effective 28 September 2026 · Replaces the policy dated 7 April 2025

1. Who we are

This website is run by Consort XPR, a division of Consort World DMCC, a company licensed in the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) free zone. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Consort World DMCC trading as Consort XPR. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

We handle personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. Where we deal with people in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we also follow the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law, and for visitors from the UK and European Economic Area we apply the same standards set by their data protection laws.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Enquiries and forms: your name, organisation, job title, email address, phone number and anything you write in your message.
  • Email, phone and WhatsApp: the details and content of messages you send us.
  • Events and training: the registration details you provide.
  • Customers and suppliers: contact details of the people we work with, plus the information needed to quote, deliver, install, train and support.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data: your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, collected by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the site.
  • Usage data: pages visited, time on page and how you arrived, collected through Google Analytics where cookies are allowed (see section 4).

We do not ask for sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not send us health or other sensitive information unless we have agreed a secure way to receive it.

Research data collected with the eye-tracking and biometric systems we supply is controlled by the organisation running the study, not by us. Where we run a study on a client’s behalf, the handling of participant data is set out in the agreement for that project.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We use them as follows:

  • Essential: set by WordPress and our hosting provider to run the site, keep it secure and remember basic settings. These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, added through Google Site Kit, tells us which pages are used and how visitors arrive. For visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland, analytics and advertising storage are set to “denied” by default through Google Consent Mode.
  • Google advertising services: the site currently loads a Google advertising script, which may set cookies used to measure and personalise advertising. The same default settings apply to visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.

Embedded content and outside services

Some pages load content or files from other providers. When they do, your browser connects to that provider, which receives your IP address and may set its own cookies:

  • Vimeo for embedded videos, loaded with Vimeo’s “do not track” setting.
  • Google Fonts for the typefaces used on the site.
  • jsDelivr for the 3D graphics library used by the lab explorer.
  • WhatsApp, LinkedIn and X when you choose to follow a link to them.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where needed for the purposes above:

  • Service providers that host the website, provide email and business software, and supply analytics. They act on our instructions.
  • Manufacturers and partners whose products and services form part of your order, for example for warranty registration, licensing, deal registration or technical support. We share only what the task needs.
  • Professional advisers and authorities such as auditors, lawyers or regulators, where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers and manufacturers are based, or store data, outside the UAE, including in Europe and the United States. Where personal data leaves the country it was collected in, we take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected, such as choosing established providers and using contractual safeguards where available.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for. Enquiries that do not lead to business are reviewed and deleted periodically. Customer and supplier records are kept for the life of the relationship and then for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes. Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting in our Google Analytics account.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • be told how we use your personal data
  • access a copy of it
  • receive it in a structured, machine-readable format
  • have inaccurate data corrected
  • have your data erased
  • restrict how we use it
  • object to processing, including direct marketing
  • withdraw consent at any time

To make a request, email info@consortxpr.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond without undue delay. There is no charge for a reasonable request.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live. In Saudi Arabia this is the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections to this website, restricted access to our systems and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

This website is intended for businesses, universities and public bodies. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this page when our services, the law or the tools we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
