Custom Testing spaces.
We designed these Pods after a Government client wanted to bring their testing facility in-house. They were previously using an external supplier, however, they had limited space available. The traditional answer would have been to repurpose one or two rooms to serve as a testing space and observation space. We designed an answer where the Pod can be deployed in the reception area, allowing easy access for visitors, and a networked audio-video solution allowing the client to stream video inside and outside the premises to ensure maximum stakeholder engagement.

Technology Choices
We can fit out the interior with the eye tracking and biometrics technologies you need. Learn more about the technologies below and how they can help you.
đ Eye Tracking
Eye tracking is a window into attention, decision-making, and unconscious behavior. In a pod-based lab, it allows you to precisely measure where participants look, how long they engage with visual stimuli, and what captures or diverts their attention. From website usability to packaging design, medical training to behavioral research, eye tracking reveals the unseenâwhat people really notice, not just what they say. Our Tobii-based systems are integrated directly into screens or glasses for natural, real-world interaction. With real-time data capture and visualizations, you can test, iterate, and optimize experiences fast. Whether youâre measuring cognitive load, mapping gaze paths, or assessing focus under pressure, eye tracking in a pod lab is non-intrusive, high-speed, and incredibly insightful. Itâs essential for understanding how people process information in real timeâturning instinct into insight and vision into value.
â€ïž Biometrics
Biometric sensors provide a physiological fingerprint of how people feel and reactâmoment by moment. In a pod-based lab, GSR (Galvanic Skin Response), heart rate, and respiration sensors can be seamlessly integrated to track emotional arousal, stress, and engagement. Whether someone is calm, confused, excited, or anxious, biometrics pick up what words or behaviors often miss. By combining biometric data with stimuli like video, UI testing, or training scenarios, you uncover rich, layered insights into emotional response and cognitive effort. This tech is ideal for industries from advertising and product testing to education and mental health. In our pod labs, biometrics are synchronized with other tools like eye tracking and facial coding, offering a unified timeline of behavior. The result? A deeper, more accurate picture of how people feel in the momentâempowering smarter design, better decisions, and truly human-centered experiences.
đ Facial Coding
Facial coding technology reads micro-expressionsâthose subtle, involuntary movements that reveal true emotions. Integrated into a pod-based lab, facial coding uses AI-driven video analysis to detect emotional responses such as joy, anger, surprise, or confusion in real time. Itâs completely non-intrusive: participants simply engage naturally, and the system interprets their emotional feedback frame by frame. This is powerful in scenarios like ad testing, UX research, or classroom training, where how someone feels matters as much as what they do. Combined with other modalities like biometrics and eye tracking, facial coding helps you triangulate emotional insight with behavioral and physiological data. In the pod lab environment, everything is seamlessly synchronizedâso you know not just what people saw, but how they emotionally responded. It brings a new dimension of empathy to research, helping you understand people as they truly are, not just as they say they are.
đ§ EEG Solutions
EEG technology measures brain activity to uncover what people are thinking, feeling, or focusing onâfar beyond conscious awareness. In a pod-based lab, EEG headsets capture high-resolution data in a comfortable, streamlined setup, perfect for measuring attention, memory, and cognitive load in real time. Whether you’re studying learning, reaction to stimuli, or decision-making under pressure, EEG gives you access to the source: the brain. Paired with eye tracking and biometrics, EEG creates a 360-degree view of behavior, combining what the participant saw, how they reacted, and what their brain was doing in that moment. With dry electrode systems from Bitbrain and Shimmer, setup is fast, clean, and field-ready. EEG in a pod lab is ideal for psychology, marketing, UX, or training studiesâanywhere you need to decode how people think as they act. It transforms intuition into evidence, turning brainwaves into breakthroughs.
đș Motion Capture
Motion capture lets you analyze how people moveâsubtly or dynamicallyâin real time. In a pod-based lab, IMU-based motion sensors are integrated into wearable suits or small devices, enabling full-body tracking without cameras or complex rigs. This mobility makes motion capture ideal for natural interactions in simulated or real environments, from physical training to product testing and VR research. Capture how a surgeon moves during simulation, how a shopper navigates a display, or how users interact with equipment under stress. When combined with eye tracking and biometrics, motion capture completes the picture: what they looked at, how they felt, and how they moved in response. Itâs fast to deploy, easy to use, and incredibly powerful. In any behavior-focused studyâsports, education, defense, retailâmotion tells a story no survey can. Pod-based motion capture turns complex movement into actionable insight, all within a compact, intelligent lab space.
đ„ Video Solutions
Video is the anchor for multimodal researchâcapturing the full context of behavior in high definition. In a pod-based lab, our smart video solutions allow you to record participants, stimuli, screens, and physical interactions with perfect synchronization. Use multi-camera views, PIP (picture-in-picture), and screen recording to document everything from facial expressions to gesture, screen interactions to spatial positioning. Our systems integrate seamlessly with eye tracking, biometrics, EEG, and facial coding, ensuring all data is aligned to a unified timeline. You can stream live for remote observation, annotate recordings for later analysis, or use automated tools to flag key moments. Whether you’re studying usability, emotional response, medical simulation, or behavioral interviews, video ensures no insight is lost. Itâs the story behind the dataârich, human, and powerful. In a pod lab, video is your visual memory and evidence base, capturing what matters most: how people truly behave.
